WE ARE MAGIC

Love Lord of the Rings? Love video games? If you do, then you're in the right place! I am a new devloper and this is project was built during my time while attending the coding bootcamp LearningFuze in Irvine, CA

This page was built using vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I utilized the API - The One API - to pull in necessary data when applicable. The images were created using Midjourney and were modeled in style of the artist Bengus.

It's been a lot of fun building this project and I hope you enjoy your time here!

  • The Shire

    The Shire is a peaceful and picturesque land in the northwest of Middle-earth. It is known for its lush greenery, rolling hills, and quaint countryside. It is is divided into four farthings and features the village of Hobbiton in the Westfarthing. The hobbits enjoy a simple way of life, farming, and tending to their homes. This location is a symbol of simplicity and contentment, providing a cozy and idyllic countryside for its inhabitants.

  • Rivendell

    Rivendell, also known as Imladris, is an ancient elven sanctuary nestled in the foothills of the Misty Mountains. It is a place of great natural beauty and tranquility, characterized by waterfalls, lush gardens, and majestic architecture. Rivendell is home to the elves, a wise and immortal race, known for their deep knowledge and connection to nature. Led by Lord Elrond, Rivendell serves as a refuge and meeting place for various peoples of Middle-earth. It is a center of learning, healing, and council, where wisdom and ancient lore are preserved. Rivendell stands as a haven of peace and preservation amidst the tumultuous world, offering solace and guidance to those who seek it.

  • Minas Tirith

    Minas Tirith, also known as the Tower of Guard, is the capital city of Gondor and a formidable stronghold perched upon seven tiers of white stone. It stands majestically on the edge of the White Mountains, overlooking the vast plains of the Pelennor. Minas Tirith is a symbol of strength and resilience, serving as the last defense against the forces of darkness. The city is adorned with grand architecture, including the impressive Citadel and the towering Tower of Ecthelion. It is the seat of power for the Stewards of Gondor and the ruling regent. Minas Tirith is home to a diverse population, including soldiers, craftsmen, and scholars. As a beacon of hope, Minas Tirith stands as a testament to the valor and determination of the people of Gondor in the face of adversity.

  • Isengard

    Isengard is a fortress located in the treacherous region of Nan CurunĂ­r, nestled amidst the towering peaks of the Misty Mountains. It is a place of great significance in the realm of Middle-earth, known for its dark and brooding atmosphere. Isengard was once a mighty fortress of the Gondorian kingdom but has fallen under the control of the wizard Saruman, who has twisted its purpose to serve his own ambitions. The stronghold is surrounded by impenetrable walls and guarded by a fearsome army of Uruk-hai, bred for war. Within its confines lies the fearsome Orthanc, a black tower that serves as Saruman's abode and a symbol of his power. Isengard is a place of industry and dark sorcery, where the forces of evil gather and machinations are set in motion. The ascent to Mount Doom is perilous, with treacherous slopes and a landscape scarred by the forces of evil. Mount Doom stands as a formidable and ominous landmark, embodying the immense power and destructive potential of the One Ring.
